So I'm making my Hawke cosplay but I don't have a job. I haven't NOT had a job in like two years so it's really beyond weird, but I digress.
Pleather (and leather) are fuckin EXPENSIVE. And for someone on a budget of two nickels and an old candy wrapper, that sucks ass. Luckily, I found a way to make the pleather myself on a budget and it doesn't even look cheap! I literally made this with stuff just laying around my house, except the shoe polish, which was still only like $2.
For the paints, I literally just used cheapy Wal-Mart Apple Barrel paint. It was like $1 for a big bottle and I didn't even use the whole thing.
