Description
(prints and products at:Β society6.com/audreybenjaminsen )Here we have Roald Dahlβs four famous brats (from right to left), Veruca Salt, Mike Teavae, Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde, and our hero of course, Charlie Bucket. Reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with my Mom is one of my favorite childhood memories, and that memory inspired me to do some character designing! I wanted to experiment with only using graphite drawing and digital color, aiming for a flatter more textured storybook feel. Overall, it was a fun prompt to work with!

I would love to see her kind of art in children's books and animated films! Its so detailed yet simplistic with a slight Tim Burton feel to it. I love it <3

I love this. Yes, it definitely has a storybook feel. I don't know, it also reminds me of Norman Rockwell's style. Maybe it's the coloring.

Wow, if there was an animated movie, this is definitely how they would look like.Β
Especially Veruca. She looks just like the little spoiled, grumpy brat that she is, haha. Amazing and beautiful <3
