A close friend of mine passed away recently and I've kind of been in a slump. (not the girl in the drawing just to clarify) This piece is a reflection on death and life and their oneness- the drawing is quite detailed. (ballpoint pen, gouache and goldleaf )Related content

I am so sorry for your loss. Art is essential to the grieving process, for me at least. It's where some of my best works came from. And this, this is just beautiful.

Pen? wow, good detail and so clean work.
The image seems a little Mucha, but with more simbolism and a darker side and message.
I like some details like the flies and the eye behind the bones.
