Just me in the bushes. I was trying to get that effect with the sunlight coming through the leaves behind my head. It worked out okay, I guess. I feel weird submitting a selfportrait again. I have not in a long time...especially not one this large.---

the light between your face and the leaves is wonderful
also the tone of your skin and the light green perfectly compliment
each other............oh and by the way you look remarkably like charlize theron in this pic.......hope that doesn't offend you

I think it's a really good idea, but it isn't finished. I think the image is a bit flat, in order to give it more life you'll need to adjust the contrast in either levels (ctrl+l or apple+l) or curves (ctrl+m or apple+m) a bit, preferably on individual colours. The main problem with doing this is the fact that much of the image is burnt out. The light on the right side is white, 100% white, there is nothing there and no matter what you do with it there will never be anything there either. What I'd like to see is more power in the colours, some details in the light areas and a bit more life overall (do not get me wrong, the pose is great, you've chosen a strong look and that alone really makes this picture).
Another thing I wonder about is whether you really need that much on the left side, perhaps some cropping?

.....its not really what attracted me to the image in the first place
what did was the vividness of those colours....and the composition itself
its a beautiful image......although personally..i think i would have cropped about a quarter of an inch off the left hand side ( my opinion ) but i think it would given the overall image more balance altogether...
regardless though......id say you achieved your idea spectacularly
i luv the contrast of the leaves against the over exposed area on your left side / right side of the photo
that.... and the focus is just WOW ---Beautifully captured
