The Jashin-Sama's children commandments are based off of my imagination. I also imagine they must have alot of these. Maybe over a thousand or more. I hear of religions like that. The 2nd one Hidan Says I think is a real commandment. Watch the anime. Think about the commandment. The overconfident cocky guy that Hidan is kinda shows he's not afraid of anything, not death. But as a child, he seems to have trouble following the commandments. Hidan is not lazy. He tries very VERY hard, but no matter what he does, it's never good enough. He is a hard worker, even though distracted by the thought of Kakuzu, but no matter how much he tries, it seems to Hidan as if he can't do anything right.

And you hear a mention of Hidan's father. If Hidan was dropped at a temple... that would definately explain alot. But you don't get the full details of that until VERY later in the story, but you hear people mention it.
And Hidan hides it that he's crying. He even bites his lip till the point of it bleeding.
I think he's crying about what that last kid said, not what Sensei said. that's only half of it.

Last pannel might look weird, because that's his face burried in his arms. No one else sees him crying.
