Jiang Cheng is my favorite character in The Untamed. Not because he's flawless (he's not) or has the most lines (he doesn't). It's because his dreams were so pure and yet those dreams were crushed due to factors out of his control. He made some decisions he thought were right, and as the audience we can judge those actions, but what would we do in that situation? He loved his brother so much and wanted to them to be together for the rest of his life, but felt that Wei Wuxian chose Lan Zhan over him. Anyway, I could go on forever about all the reasons Jiang Cheng is underrated, but I'm sure you know. I used a reference photo from a screenshot in the live action. The scene is when Jiang Cheng was watching Wei Wuxian play the flute with the dark arts. You can see the pain and concern in his face.
