Description
This is a flag to represent the season of Spring. it will be the first in a four part series. The sun is shown rising in the East - symbolising warming temperatures and the return of the light after the long dark nights of winter. the green grass is studded with star-like flowers (possibly Daffodils) representing the first flowers in springtime. The white represents the thawing snow and frost. the wave pattern represents how the weather is in flux during this season with the occasional frost and cold spell still happening (white area) but at the same time the weather generally getting warmer/more pleasant. I choose to make the top (sky) part of the flag, a light greyish-blue to represent the often melancholy colour of the heavens during Spring (especially in February-early April.)
