! Is it possible to be in love with a speed painting? I sure hope so... I LOVE this one... it was such a pain in the arse, but oh gosh, was it worth it! I broke the two cups down into speed paints of an hour each, and then put it together in this niftly little format. I am submitting the hi-res file later, so when I did the layout I had prints in mind. I don't think I can explain how excited I am for this piece... MAJOR EDIT!: I figured not having a reference photo was a lousy excuse to make for not having hot chocolate, so I did a third speed paint! I altered a coffee one, and I did a lot of improv!
I hope you all love it as much as I do...

Oh my goodness those look delicious!!! Great job! I think perhaps the one in the middle and the one on the left are a tad crooked, but that could just be my computer screen at work. Over all they look great, I'm glad you're loving this new project, it's really inspireing to watch!

this is a great painting! I would have to go with tea because I don't like coffee or maybe you could do one of a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows : - these are great though - look like photographs instead of paintings.
