[C] Nyxi spent her childhood alone.

[C] She didn't know where or who her parents were, they were just.... gone.

[CI] Never there.

[C] No one was there to take her in. No one was there to teach her simple things, like walking, or getting food. She had to learn herself from day one.

[C] Parents are important. They guide you through live, teaching you basic things in order for you to survive.

[C] Nyxi was smart. She taught herself everything. It seemed that there were no one living in the area at all. She had the whole forest to herself.

[C] Was there other people? Maybe she's the only living thing on this land.

[C] She fed off berries, drank from nearby streams out of instincts. She built a small home for herself to hide from rainy days. Each day, she entertained herself by exploring a little part of the forest.

[C] She wasn't the bravest. In reality, she was a scared baby, trying to learn more about the world she was born in. But soon, she knew every inch and leave that was a part of her surroundings. It was like a mansion; living in a very, very large home, all to herself.

[C] All to herself. She was alone. Of course, she didn't know what alone meant, or what it felt like to not be alone.

[C] But her spirits were still there. Her imagination. She was able to make herself smile and laugh at the little things. She appreciated the little things. Happy when it's sunny, sad when it's rainy. It was a utopia.

[C] "What was that?"

[C] A noise. A noise she never heard before. Startled, she hid behind a bush. Her heart was thumping, fear of the unknown. Footsteps other than hers synchronized with her heartbeat.

[CI] Thump, thump, thump, thump.

[C] Nyxi's knees shook. Her paws clutched the ground's grass tightly, enough to almost rip them from their roots. Her heart started thumping louder as each step got closer.

[C] "tHERE'S A FIRE??!"

[C] "What?!"

[C] "QUICK! SMOTHER THE FLAMES!"

[C] "JAYVYN?? STOP FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE, ARE YOU STUPID?"

[C] Nyxi felt the warmth of another flame blow right above her. The flame was thirsty for blood, but sweet. Delicate. Careful to the touch but ready to enflame its target.

[C] She was never the adventurous type, but this feeling. She wanted to explore flame more.

[C] She stood up slowly, indulging in the flame.

[C] Until it stopped.

[C] Wet darkness was left.

[C] ---

[C] "They're awake!! Thank arceus, I nearly thought I killed someone!"

[C] Her eyes slowly fluttered open. The room was unfamiliar. It was bright. The white walls, white tables, white windows. And an orange blob.

[C] "Are you alright?!" it spoke, running up to the bed.

[C] It moved. It made noises.

[C] It portrayed a feeling like no other. The pitch and volume resonated a part of her brain that seems to be unrecognizable, but there.

[C] The family, out of guilt, took her in. They had no way of communicating to the poor Pokémon. But slowly and surely, Nyxi learned how to read and write. The family's son, Jayvyn, taught her words.

[C] Words. They were unimaginable. And this boy who was teaching this mysterious, indescribable form was soon to be her senpai.

[C] They were true siblings. Nyxi followed him wherever he went.

[C] The amount of knowledge she has gained was enormous, from social cues, to basic laws and different types of foods. Nyxi was able to put to use her newfound information fairly quickly. She communicated with paper and pen, along with different facial expressions to pair with her words.

[C] Although not fairly difficult to understand, Javyn was the only person who could understand her truly. They were as close as any brother and sister could be.

[C] Nyxi had many tricks up her sleeve, which allowed Jayvyn to use them to his aid for mischievous tricks and fights. They're teamwork blended so smoothly; Nyxi was extremely submissive however, allowing Jayvyn to be as dominant as he needs to be.

[C] But their partnership had quickly came to a stop after Jayvyn had mysteriously disappeared. The parents were devastated; their only son is gone.

[C] Nyxi knew that with the parents current state of mind, she was better off alone.

[C] She was back to square one. Alone. Unsure of her surroundings. Unsure of what to do. This time, she no longer can rely of instincts. But this time with a goal in mind.

[C] Instead of a small forest, the whole world. To know about the entire world.

[C] Little did she know, ignorance is bliss.
