Developed by the Automotive Solutions Collective, this design was intended to establish and mantain communications and surveillance networks in any number of hostile enviroments for research and search-and-rescue operations. As the Five Year War spread across Republic space, increasingly large numbers of Type-30C's found themselves used to mantain vital networks using hardlines on millions of fronts in the face of relentless waves of GLACIERHEAD Corporate protocols. Retrofitted with heavy counter-ICEBREAKER protocol drivers, Type-30C's have become an indispensible asset to the Republic's Signals and Network Warfare Corps.
