Personality:
Roth enjoys, well, enjoying things. They love to make the most of any sort of activity, thinking about it more and more, making it more and more, building it into something that can bring endless, endless pleasure. They also love for others to enjoy things, and will often linger around others and amplify their brainrot ever more, sharing in the enjoyment.

Others might consider them to be a malicious force, given that their subjects often lose sight of reality, obligations, physical needs, and other interests, but they simply feel that they are heightening others' enjoyment. It is only temporary, after all.

When they are not rotting brains, which, to be fair, is what they do most of the time, they might be found floating around somewhere, doing nothing in particular. At this time, their head is often "empty" and they are much more open to conversation. When in the midst of brainrot, they will not be much of an engaging conversationalist, unless the conversation is the topic of the brainrot.

Abilities:
Brainrot: Roth can amplify the enjoyment of activity to the stages of fixation, hyperfixation, and brainrot. Generally, they only affect one individual at a time. When under the effects of Roth's brainrot, the individual will have more and more ideas, and the pleasure they gain from thinking about those ideas will be ever greater. At the stage of "brainrot," when the individual's mind is metaphorically rotted to the point that all they can think of is the subject of their pleasure, their physical needs will be minimized or even halted. In very advanced stages, they begin to leak fluid like Roth's from their eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, which will dissipate shortly after dripping out. The fluid does not bother the individual, and most of the time, they won't even notice. It is rare that it gets to this point, however, as the average person will often have a sense that they need to pull out and thus turn back from the progression of brainrot. Roth never holds someone against their will, and when Roth ceases, the intensity of the brainrot fades very quickly and the individual can pull themself back together.

Imbibe: Roth's liquid is ingestible, and generally perceived as quite pleasant-tasting, though this is an effect on the mind rather than an actual taste. Those who imbibe of them will enter a sort of pleasant state, and their mind will latch onto whatever interests them most at the moment; that interest will be amplified and their thoughts will spin around it, coming up with countless thoughts and ideas - some of which may be quite ridiculous, some of which may be quite interesting to consider.

Mindlink: Roth can link to an individual and share thoughts and emotions. In a sense, it is a fusion of the mind without fusion of the body; together, they ponder endlessly about the subject of brainrot. Roth does not need to touch the individual, but it is easier if they do or if they have imbibed of Roth. The subject may also begin to leak/drip the same fluid as Roth; this happens more commonly for mortals. For non-mortals like Edeia, it may come from places like eyes, mouth, behind masks, empty spaces, edges, etc.

History:
Roth is an ancient Edeia, Actualizing a few thousand years ago. At the time, there was no concept of "brainrot" - they did not identify that as their Idea until around the start of the Age of Reunion, when the term came to be used more often. That said, even if there was not a word that fit what they felt was core to their being, they grasped the abstract sense of what they wanted to be.

Throughout the years, they wandered the world. They were sometimes seen as a demon, possessing others, rotting their mental faculties in regards to anything except a particular fixation. They came to be known by many names, but they enjoyed "Astaroth" in particular for many years, before taking the name "Roth" and, occasionally, "Aster."

When the Age of Secrecy came, they became a presence much more hidden. They continued to exert their power on others, though they tended to avoid reaching the state when an individual would start leaking Roth's liquid. As Reunion came, they familiarized themself with the internet and many individuals who used it, in addition to finally finding a word for their Idea: Brainrot.

They were much more open about using their abilities, which occasionally got them a scolding from the authorities, but they generally wander the world, finding individuals to share some brainrot with.

Abstraction:
Roth's Abstraction is a place consisting of a lake the color of their liquid, filled with shifting white lines like ripples. There is a massive dark structure as the centerpoint. There is a "moon" and lines of "fog" that fill the space as well.

The structure shifts and morphs, and can be entered by phasing through the wall. Inside is an abstract place that does not match the exterior whatsoever. It is a mutable place that looks to be almost as if you were submerged in Roth's liquid, with white lines rippling around you, though the space can be influenced by Roth's intent (or another's if Roth allows it) to form anything that is desired.
