The popular kids have these things.They call them parties.
Supposedly, they’re rather fun.
Supposedly, there are
boys, and dancing, and makeup-smeared faces.
They’re planned around birthdays, school vacation
(if they’re not away skiing)
and holidays.
I had this thing.
I called it a party.
It was definitely rather fun.
There was laughing, and TV
(the first episode of Sherlock came out)
and enough black humor and bad jokes
for a room full of undertakers.
We should do it again sometime.
