Description
In the peeling white room
on the rainy grey day
the lanky tomboy tried to dance.
She stretched her muscles out-
legs, back, arms
feeling bones pop into place.
With aid from a laptop and a dresser
and faded memories of studios long gone
she twisted her body time and time again.
Suprisingly graceful as she lept into the air
for
a quick changement and bent down into a
croise devant, arms tendu.
Keeping time with the second hand of her watch
to music only she could hear
in the peeling white room
on the rainy grey day
the lanky tomboy danced.
