It looked like it was going to storm earlier today, there was plenty of thunder and the occasional lightning.The horses started to go crazy so I grabbed my camera and took some pics. They aren't as good as I would like, as It was very overcast and that with the wind blowing dust everywhere. I still managed to get a few interesting shots.
Getz 12 year old Grey Thoroughbred Gelding (the black marks all over him are a result of 7 years of neglect, where he was knowingly left with a mare who continually attacked him)

I'm a life long horse lover,i've actually ridden one when i was younger.Sad part is the horse i rode (shamrock) had to be put down because she was old. This is a beautiful shot of this horse

What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL horse. I'm doing an art project on horses, particularly focusing in on the history of the thoroughbred at the moment; I'd love to do a series of sketches of him if that's alright
