You may think that his paint manipulation can make trees, plants, objects or any props or objects.But nope...
It does more than that.
He picks a character to demonstrate what else it can also do
He uses his creativity to pick which character he wants to pick, like for example bendy from batim
But rather swinging it once to summon it quickly.
The paint brush does a drip to splat on the floor and then it forms into the character he chosen
It grows the head 1st, the body and limbs...
Finally it adds color to it. making the red paint sink inside of the form it created and it has been complete
Has the same power/knowledge and more to him/her...
He can make any props or objects. But he can also make characters and other beings/creatures.
But it does waste some paint to the paintbrush (It there is no paint the paint manipulation wouldn't work)
And cannot make any gods or immortals...
