I took this photo a few weeks ago, but I thought I might as well as show it this evening. While currently in the middle of a rainy spell in my neck of the woods, I do long for the return of warm, sunny days like this mid-March shot overlooking my eastern pasture and woodlands, along with some features to my north. It was certainly a sight to behold. Bright sky blue to contrast with dark pine green and the lighter greens, browns and tans of the recently-mowed field grass. Almost postcard-worthy if I say so myself, capturing a glimpse of rural scenery just outside of Canby. With things this spring already appearing to take stressful trajectories in pretty big turns, nicer weather does provide a calming essence as well as an inspiring one to reach out and act with more confidence and bravery.

While a ways away, some days with highs in the mid-60s, including breaks in rainfall, are expected to show. I certainly look forward to those days, and the possibilities of more photo-ops.
