I get that some of you are likely busy watching Super Bowl LVIII or doing other business this evening. However, I'd like to direct your collective attention to this new keychain of mine. As an early gift ahead of Wednesday (Valentine's Day), my sister purchased a couple of gifts for my mom and I. My mom's set to receive a box of chocolates while, before she left on a trip to Portland, my sister got me a keychain. It's not just any keychain, however; it's one themed around Ed, Edd n Eddy!

Along with a gold-colored metal piece with the show's title, one of the keychains includes a metal piece designed after a jawbreaker (I'm assuming it's the Japan flavor, as indicated in "Once Upon an Ed"), and a wooden piece designed in the shape of Plank. A little bit of an embarrassing anecdote: back when I was in elementary school (as the cartoon was still running), I would go out to the schoolyard during recess. There was a patch of wood chips around the recess equipment and, while going about my business, I'd grab chips that seemed reminiscent of Plank and carry them around with me while back in class. That was my sibling's rationale to get me the keychain.

Over 14 years since Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show, I certainly wasn't expecting some keychain based on the show to come my way. I don't celebrate Valentine's Day but this was a thoughtful gift she gave me, and I wanted to show it to you guys ASAP. I'll certainly consider putting it on my key ring (or maybe keeping it concealed for safe keeping). Either way, I love it. (Though I'm sure Plank would have more than a few choice words for the moment. )
