I was feeling bored and decided to take a picture of my Oregon Zoo plushes while arranged together under my family’s Christmas tree. The holiday season is often associated with getting gifts, and that certainly is accurate in the case of these guys. I obtained Tyrone, Leon and Ginger during this time back in 2020 and 2021 (Eleanor and Pedro came birthdays). Out of some holiday spirit, I thought I would get plushes from my favorite facility arranged for at least one holiday-esque photo shoot. They do look cute together atop our presents if I say so myself. And this holiday season, we’re hoping to get at least one more in the group. I asked for a guardian set representing the southern sea otter, another one of my favorite animals and a species that will soon be reintroduced into Oregon. While helping support the conservation, I await the day I may get a sea otter plush to complete my menagerie.
