Description
A brown man sees a blue,A sharpshooter of old,
Pulls a rifle to his eyes,
But stops, and thinks of the blue,
Families torn, babies unborn,
Anguish, pain, hard metal rain,
He lowers his rifle.
A blue man sees a brown,
A young man of twenty,
Pulls his rifle to his eyes,
And pulls the fateful trigger,
A family tears, losing many heirs,
Stoic, blank, dark and dank,
He continues his work.
Three days later,
Many men die,
The blue man is found,
With a stain of a tear near his eye.

The difference between the two coloured men is so true though. You know what I like about this poem, the fact that you can look at it different ways and still get the same sort of meaning. Very good job. You were able to capture some raw and rough emotion of war in your words and characters, if I may call them that, and it does a good job!

Another sad but great poem I agree, war stirs up a lot of emotions. It's inspiring in an awful sort of way
