Description
Some think that it can be fixedBut the damage is done
The bindings of difference
Have clamped around all
And they are too tight to ignore
The word man has been used
To designate the human race
Not the subcategories inside of it
And now, a truly honest man
Who sees a man as a man only as a man
Is forced to submit the ideas
That a black man is not
A white man is not
A brown man is not a man
The business man is not
The worker is not
The executive is not
The democrat is not
The republican is not
The politician is not
The immigrant is not a man
All the blunt of some jest or other
In a verbal war,
A cultural war,
A silent war
Which nobody can possibly win
Because existing in this world
Makes you not just a man
From the point of conception
You are hereby
A black man
A white man
A brown man
Because man is no longer man
And the honest man is not
Because stereotypes are a factor
It is not a percentage of people
It is the black
The white
The brown population from now on
Because from now on
The black man is not
The white man is not
The brown man is not
The orange man
The green man
The purple man
The yellow
The blue
The indigo
The cyan
The turquoise
The maroon
The grey
Man can no longer be just a man

A very serious message you have portrayed here. An interweaving of the images of man, including woman, of past and present. An exellent metaphorically, detailed piece.
