Being super stressed, or incredibly overstimulated can be really draining, but it becomes so much worse when I can't verbally communicate. My husband, and I have worked out a system to help me get through these trying times. If you find it frustrating when someone is non-verbal imagine being them, and are unable to simply talk with you.
