Jokes and fake bestiary entries aside; I love the more beast-like depictions of orcs and goblinoids. Pig faced orcs rock!
I am really proud of this one! It started as a sketch, and an exercise for me to try out some new things. I honestly wasn't expecting much more than some doodle/sketch work from it. It is important to note that I am an illustrator at heart. Drawing, and drawing adjacent things are my wheelhouse, being painterly isn't. I know it is a weird distinction to make, but that is why I am really happy with this. It is more difficult for me to approach things from any measure of a "Painterly" perspective. So to do something that is a "blending" of styles is something, but for me to be really happy with the result is something special.
I really enjoyed this one, and I hope you do as well.
