Description
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the Aperture Science Superconductor Persuading Device.I modeled and textured it in Blender 2.58, and used this freely found font. Thank you, p2pnut.
This is a model I'm submitting to a HL2 mod I like as a replacement for the crowbar model. It hasn't been predetermined that it will be added, but I just wanted to make this.
Soon to come - The animated version.
--------------
The scientists at Aperture Science have perfected the art of levitating magnets using superconductors, focusing hard-light beams, and persuading others with the Aperture Science Superconductor Persuading Device.
This Device has been designed with you, the consumer, in mind. We thought of you so much and all those tax, work, retirement, and inheritance money which you did or didn't work so hard for just for us to endlessly spend on frivolous things all in the name of science that we're proud to say that the Device is made up of 40% of your monetary contributions.
Now, this little doodad may seem small, but it can pack quite a punch. You see, there are a few key parts which are worth mentioning. At the bottom you will notice a Liquid Nitrogen container. We use this to keep your superconductor in the hilt nice and cool, so that you may keep telling people what to believe.
The superconductor has its shielding removed when the button is pressed, which causes the magnet inside the sphere on the top... lets call this the Pellet... to get suspended in midair in a flux trap! Isn't that exciting? And after that, before your eye can process it, the Pellet focuses a hard-light beam onto the hilt and then you're able to convince people that going bankrupt over a crowbar weapon alternative really is worth the agony!
Aperture Science is not responsible for mishaps with the hard-light beam not aligning correctly, or any deaths as a result of usage of the Device. Please check to make sure that your country isn't one of the 150 that ban our products before purchase.
