Iolite is the only offspring of Rarity and Prince BluebloodRaritys marriage to Prince Blueblood was a very short one but just long enough that she conceived and had Iolite. Prince Blueblood, to the chagrin of Celestia and Luna, did not care to ask to have anything to do with his daughter and as Iolite got older she learned to not give two bits about him either as he never did anything for her mother.
I think Iolite would be fascinated with Raritys devotion to fashion AND her ability to care about the clothes and the ponies she sold the clothing to. She has a talent for jewelry making herself and probably ends up helping her mom open an accessories counter in her shops that can be worn with this or that ensemble or just enjoyed with any outfit
