These are the characters of the House of Night series of books by PC Cast and her daughter. i was super bored one day on vacation, and having only a HoN book to read and to keep me sane, i doodled them. and i have to say that I really really really love how Erin came out. and Stevie Rae and Zoey. no, wait scratch that. I love how ALL of them came out.NOTE: THESE ARE THE HOUSE OF NIGHT CHARACTERS AS I SEE THEM!! PLEASE DON'T BASH AND OR FLAME IF THEY'RE NOT HOW YOU VIEW THEM!! PLZ AND THANK YOU!

Characters are (in order of who I drew first. lol)
Shaunnee Cole (fire) Erin Bates (water) Stevie Rae (earth) Damien (air) Zoey Redbird (spirit) These 5 represent the 5 elements of Wicca, which is what the House of Night series is heavily influenced by. It's an awesome series and I can't wait for "Awakened" to come out!! Yes, it has to do with vampyres but NO, not the Twilight vampires of FAIL.
Yes, there is romance, but there's also action and adventure, and unlike Twilight, this book is actually WORTH your time. Twilight zealots, don't hate me. I'm voicing my opinion, and if you don't like it, tough. I'm willing to listen to your views, but don't be a moany whiny tool about it. kthnxbai.

Very cute! I would love to see someone portray Zoey as olive skinned as she's portrayed in the book. But everyone else...just amazing!

i actually had a lot of trouble with her skin tone. I researched Native American skin tones and I came up with a sort of darker peach-ish color kinda. idk...that was the best i could have come up with w/o making her look Black. Thank you though!

you know, I read a few of these books a while ago. I don't want to get into an argument, but let's just say my opinion is...well, quite different from yours. I won't go into it because like i said, I don't want to get in an argument, but will just say that I stopped reading them because, well, quite honestly, and again this just my own personal opinion, Zoey came off as very shallow, and even a bit, well, slutty to me. I mean....they way she describes boys.....and she never has less that three boyfriends at once..but, again, I don't want to insult anyone or get any one mad.
and while I agree that the actual STORY of the H.O.N. books is a fuck load better than twilight, I'm gonna have to be perfectly honest and say that I think the actual vampires, like, the anatomy and biology and the way vampirism works, I think it's done better in Twilight. NOT the sparkly shit, no, not that, but the characters in H.O.N. are practically still human, as far as their physiology goes. I mean, the twilight vamps are total idiots and the sparkly shit is just plain retarded, but their bodies are actually undead and much more "vampire-ish"...again, EXCLUDING the Sparkly crap.
ok, that's all I'll say, please don't be mad, I was just voicing my honest opinion. I am by no means saying that "you're dumb for liking this" or any other asshole comments, I'm just telling what I think. I don't mean to be rude or argumentative or anything. that's just what I think. so, please don't yell at me.

i'm not going to get angry. you voiced your opinion in a rather civil and nice way. i agree with you on the whole Twilight with the vampires staying undead, but i also feel that the House of Night with the vampyres being human at first and then turning, is also pretty cool in its own way as well. And I also stopped reading the books for some time, not because of how Zoey's character is written, (i do think she tends to get a tad annoying) but I feel that the books are dragging out way too long. I follow P.C.'s blog and when i read the books more frequently than i do now, I had asked P.C. how many books there will be in the entire series, and she replied to me saying that there will be 13. I don't know about you, but i think that's a bit much. But then again...The Magic Treehouse series has been going on since I was a kid, i don't know how many they have now, but i'm sure it's more than 13 but that's a children's book. Not a young adult book. And it's meant for children learning how to read. completely different. lol.

yeah, I guess the slow conversion can be kinda neat. I mean, don't get me wrong, I do think their powers and the whole Wicca influence is really cool, I just don't think they're very vampire-ish. sometimes they seem more like sorceresses than vampires. from what I remember, they barely ever drank blood. except for those ones who....what was it, the little tattoo on their forehead turns red and then after that they need blood more. but they still sleep and breath and do human stuff too, don't they? eh, I can't really remember. I just don't like it when vampires have bodies that are virtually still human.
and yeah, the amount of books was getting out of hand. I stopped because of that too, and the fact that, and again, no offense, but to me it just seemed like Zoey was getting sluttier and sluttier with each one. if I remember right, I think the one and only boy who she didn't describe as being sexually attractive (I believe the word she kept using was "yummy" which, yeah, kinda disgusted me) was this asshole who turned out to later be a villain. and that just seemed shallow to me. but aside form that, I do remember liking it. I read all the way up until the book where that evil guy with black angel wings shows up at the very end. and after that book I stopped.

I like the books, but I don't like Zoey >.< she complains WAY TOO MUCH about Aphrodite even though she does NOTHING MEAN at all.

Yeah, Zoey's kinda gotten on my nerves lately. Also, i feel that the books are being drawn out way too long, but that's just me. but i have yet to read Destined, so i'll try and read that first before I decide if i want to continue reading or not. XD

Great Job! My fave characters are Shaunee and Erin (A.K.A. the Twins) because they're just so close and funny! I love how they always tell Damien wrong team! That always makes me rofl
