Description EDIT: I didn't get into the book. *heavy sigh*
This is my entry to 13crowns' Ghostbook . I reeeeeally hope I get chosen to be a part of this awesome project! That would be phenomenal. I would die of utter excitement.

This is about... oh god, maybe 13+ hours? I don't usually ever spend that long on a piece... but I am pleased with how this turned out- and even if I don't make it into the book, I think I still came out with a really nice piece for my portfolio to submit to art schools.

Huge thank you to Coey for the opportunity to submit! I really appreciate even being given the chance to participate! Thank you so much! <3

The story behind this piece is: The boy pictured on the left has been suffering from a tormenting and particularly violent poltergeist residing in his home. Trying to bring about a way to lay the restless and enraged spirit to rest, he does some research and discovers the source of the poltergeist's anger- being separated from his soul mate, the two of them dying apart and their restless souls bound to objects that they had a strong attachment to and were in possession of at the time of their death. For the poltergeist, the house that he and his soul mate once lived in. For his lover, the pocket watch that he gave her before she left on her trip across the sea. She unfortunately disappeared on her trip and was never seen again (robbed and murdered on the side of an english country road and buried in a field. Her pocket watch was sold and traded, and eventually ended up back in the town where the poltergeist's home resides.) The boy located the pocket watch, delivered it to the poltergeist, and the two soul mates were reunited and welcome to travel together into eternity, here illustrated.

ALSO HEY I'M REALLY ACTIVE ON TUMBLR just thought I toss out a little reminder, incase you were wondering...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! It's so inspiring, mind if I use it as my muse for a new short story?
