Due to the ability to travel back and forth between the virtual and real worlds, the traveler always felt that there was something lacking even in the most perfect virtual world. Traveler couldn't pinpoint what was missing, but when it looked at the desolate reality it used to live in, along with its memories of the real ocean, it knew there was something that couldn't be satisfied in the virtual world. The traveler filled the virtual world with countless places that it imagined, combined with the tranquility and brokenness of reality, hoping to find out what they were missing in the current virtual world. Traveler drew many places, but still haven't found the answer. It had to keep trying.

This work places various places created by AI-generated sentences and images inside a hexagon that represents space. The virtual world where the traveler resides is an almost perfect space where almost everything is realized as imagined, but at the same time, because of its unrealistic nature, it creates an unfamiliar and unquenchable thirst for the traveler who can freely travel back and forth from the desolate reality. Therefore, this work represents an attempt to understand the identity of the thirst that the traveler feels by crossing the rare and broken aspects of reality that can be seen in the virtual world.

At the same time, I also tried to convey my personal thoughts on AI art. The images printed on transparent film are overlapped endlessly, making it difficult to recognize their shape unless you look closely. Although AI combines numerous images and information to create the desired image instantly for the user, when I look at such images, I get the feeling that no matter how well they are drawn, they might have been drawn by the AI. There seems to be a common characteristic in AI art. I guessed that there might be a limit to replacing people's individuality with just words and sentences.

While it is constantly evolving and assisted by various auxiliary programs, we cannot predict what will happen in the future. However, regardless of that, the current use of AI art in certain cases is regrettable as it seems to overshadow the process that creators go through to reach their own creations, which involve countless attempts and practice. The difficulty in recognizing the shape represents this characteristic of AI and the fact that it can be produced endlessly, without any reasoning or contemplation.
