To be turned into a vampire, they do not need to be bitten, but instead, must drink a cup of vampire blood. the transformation is similar to that of a marked vampire, except they have no initial rage once awakening, and they must drink at least a cup of blood once a month to avoid going into a bloodthirsty frenzy
