Ugh, this picture is frustrating me greatly. I've been trying new coloring techniques and drawing style, but I can't seem to get anything right D:I think that too many negative emotions are associated with this pic--I drew this to relieve stress after a difficult calc test (she could be fighting a dragon but I imagine her battling with a triple integral) and there have been many vain attempts to finish it. Although it's unfinished I didn't want to scrap it, and I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless
I still learned a lot, so hopefully I'll be able to do better fanart for this amazing film
Oh, and as for the title, Ruffnut mentioned getting mauled on the shoulder or back, but I think the girls would get pretty mad if their face were to suffer any scarring XD

I think it looks great. Unfinished or not. The shading is excellent and the detail is fantastic. As for the background, the blackness could be an abstract form of smoke or something, or perhaps Toothless?Β

This is one of the best pictures IΒ΄ve ever seen. I like this strong facial expression, you catched her very well! I think you did a good job on colours, composition and size. I like this square and the lights, very dramatic. Her eyes looking so determined.

You were definitely on the right track with this one, the face is perfect. She actually looks like she's *looking* at something which is very pleasing.
