After a spate of attractive young women disappearing, police stepped up their efforts and eventually arrested a 46 year old man who was often seen near the places where the victims were last seen. He confessed to many of the killings after police found numerous photos of the missing girls dead and hanging from a noose in an abandoned warehouse.

The man said that he would knock the women out with a baseball bat and then carry them back to the warehouse in his van. He would then rape them, knocking them out again if they revived. He would then hang them form a noose he had prepared and leave them there for a few hours while he fondled and abused their corpses. Finally he buried their corpses in a 'body farm' he kept n the woods near the warehouse.

Police found at least 25 bodies insides and many of them could not be positively identified.
