Also known as the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer, IXPE is an observatory that was launched recently to expand our knowledge of how x-rays are made. Looks like Chandra has a new friendo :]The boom on the observatory sparked the idea of my perspective of her being very hyper and bright, essentially just spinel lol
