DAY 8

Here we have some of the Disney Channel animated series from the mid 2000s. Lilo & Stitch: the Series, the Buzz on Maggie and American Dragon: Jake Long.

With Lilo & Stitch, it's about Lilo & Stitch searching all of Hawaii for the other 625 experiments made by Jumba that they consider Stitch's cousins; finding their purpose and saving them before Gantu can use them for his own evil needs. (PS, I'm not doing Stitch the Movie or Leroy & Stitch later on; I'm adding them to this, since they're the pilot & finale.) It was pretty good. The characters are still there, the experiments were creative and the on-going story of "finding your rightful place" is still continuing, which is fine.
The Buzz on Maggie was a generic teen sitcom, but instead, had flies instead of humans... Flash-animated flies. I only remember seeing a few episodes but didn't remember much, aside from hearing some familiar voice actors. Cliche characters, the flash was really bad, stories weren't even original, etc. Shame because "world from the view of an insect" is always great, but this was a bit like Shark Tale. People didn't seem to like this series so it's good I'm not alone.
Finally, American Dragon: Jake Long, often praised as one of the best animated shows Disney's ever done. I regret missing out! It's seems like the Karate Kid and Danny Phantom mixed together, with pre-Adventure Time Jake and RU-FI-OOOOO... ! & possibly the only good thing the Jonas Brothers have done for Disney (aside from purity rings), the theme song. All was wonderful until season 2 came along with "hip and edgy" redesigns. Anyway, certainly a great show & I ain't braggin'!
