Skyfire* meets those two new flying Elite Guard Autobots and is concerned for their safety in practicing complicated maneuvers, so he takes them to meet & learn from "the greatest fighter pilot in the galaxy," Powerglide ;3

This is just a little slice of life minicomic in the TFA verse staring some rather fly guys doin just that, hanging out, and having fun. I'm using this to test out some fic concepts I've had in mind for a larger TFA comic I've had in mind for ages, following some ideas from a lot of my past TF comics. Stay tuned, there's always more to come!

Dunno how I'm going to write Overcast yet, but I changed my mind from a post from months ago playing with the idea the death of Skyfire's brother might have been his reason for ditching the Decepticons, to him eventually realizing "oh, wait these bots seem to be into murder and conquering a lot lately. naw fam I'm out." So now Overcast is kinda 2nd or 3rd reason he continues his research and explores other planets. The other reasons is, his life's research has been based on experimental/alternate Energon sources from around the galaxy. He wishes to help his fellow Cybertronians live comfortably offworld and to form better relationships with other species. He just really loves science and people. 💕

Which brings to his 3rd reason, he's super fond of Nebulos and it's surrounding planets. I'm thinkin they might have been part of some of his early experiments he kinda left and forgot about. So over millions pf years, the people and critters on those planets just evolved alongside Energon & like in Marvel G1, are kinda like living batteries to Cybertronians. Which I tried to hint at in one of my other comics where Skyfire and Starscream have their clash in ideologies. This is also my excuse to shove more Powermaster/Targetmaster/Pretender + Beast Wars content into a TFA verse. >U>

Also Powerglide's a good pilot and caring husband, he Pre-Flights Skyfire before major flights, especially when Skyfire allows him to take over for his wild style of aerobatics (which irl would put a lot of wear an aircraft's wings and fuselage, depending on the Gs & load factors- it's perfectly normal for an aircraft. For a Cybertronian I'd equate it to exercise, or more of a full body massage for Skyfire when he gets to relax his mind and let Powerglide do all the work 😉) Skyfire doesn't always need this Pre-Flight inspection, but appreciates the caring gesture from his grounder Conjunx Endure.

Which is where I thought of adopting the Fanon idea of the reason Seeker bots have those wing "preening" maintenance claws on their hands ( I love this bc on irl plane you really do have to get your fingers in the control surface gaps for inspection- but yo who came up with this I wanna credit em bc fanon's gotta start somewhere?? :0 ). So Powerglide keeps a set of finger caps on hand so he can help maintain his Conjunx's wings. In turn Skyfire uses his built in ones to help Powerglide maintain his tractor treads.. and more?? ;3 👀👀👀

Tho Feel like I'm squishin Powerglide in that cockpit like he's got Action Master proportions (I can relate, I've squished my butt into some t i n y airplane cockpits. didn't fly most of em tho, they were other people's planes &/or museum pieces. mine will be that small tho 😂). Tho I bet Skyfire does it on purpose, he can Mass Shift just ever so slightly, but he likes him getting cozy & extra snug in there ;D
