Description
My second attempt at pencil portraiture: Michael Keaton as Batman.UPDATE (8/11/2013): Finally scanned and uploaded the original pencil drawing, thus replacing the previous scan from a (poor) photocopy.

the pic is still good, but if you want a suggestion, i say you should correct the angles and crop out the white stuff.

Keaton! The best Batman ever was! The tones are a bit too smudged out, but you've done a good job on the eyes! You've captured Keaton's look quite well.

This is actually a scan of a photocopy rather than the original. So the quality has gone down quite a bit.

you have captured the essences of Batman's mood wonderfully-This is something that sets him apart from say Superman and other hero's, his dark edge.
its the eyes that do it for me-he looks a cross between pissed off and a kind of questioning stare all at the same time, very hard to render but you have captured it well

Amazing! That is some remarkable talent you've got there. Michael Keaton in the role was just classic. He was a Batman for us all and you capture him perfectly and beautifully in your rendition. Though Christian Bale does the role justice, Keaton will always be my favorite and looking at this just takes me back!!

Personally, I prefer the 8-minute film 'Batman: Dead End' by Sandy Collora over all the full-length Batman flicks of Warner Bros. Let's hope they hit all the right notes with 'Batman Begins'.

Holy whips and chains Batman! That is teh awesome man. you RULE. 'nuff said. Michael Keaton was a great Batman, good acting, and he totally had THE LIPS. You can't be Batman unless you have THE LIPS. And you captured those lips well. Bravo.
