I haven't drawn Nhm in such a long time ;v; This was mostly practice to get back into digital painting, but I definitely need to practice more ;v; (the process for lined art and digital painting is way more different than I thought)this is my entry for the october 2019 prompt! (darkness)
"The setting sun marks the coming darkness - is your esk more active during the darkness of night? Or are they afraid? What about appearances - do their flowers close, their enchantments more/less active? Or do they prefer to stay away from abandoned places out of fear or myth?"
Nhm prefers the coolness of night as it provides shadows to hide in. The darkness keeps her hidden and puts her at ease. She also produces natural heat, which helps her in the frigid night, but is less beneficial in the hot daytime. Sometimes, she wanders closer to civilization than normal to watch the rising sun. Despite her distaste of its rays, she can still enjoy the peacefulness of dawn.
