Official Title: If you want to fix, change, or rewrite Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2, what will you do?

The lore/story of Help Wanted 2 is disappointing and confusing while it did answers SOME questions it raises even more questions in the process. So...Vanny is back and the Princess Quest ending wasn´t canon? Or maybe it was and it´s just Vanessa embracing the Vanny persona after being freed? Why is Moon her minion? Which ending of Ruin is canon? What even IS HW2 in-universe? Do STAFF bots have the souls of dead employees inside of them? Is the Mimic turning Cassie into the new Vanny? Like it´s a lot. And while we can certainly theorize on all those questions, the core problem that I have with the game is simple. There is no actual story here. No, really. What´s the actual plot of this game? In HW1 you were given a lengthy exposition intro about the indie game developer and how Fazbear Entertainment aims to use this Virtual Experience to join the digital age. But in HW2 it doesn´t seem to me that this game has an actual storyline. Things just kind-of happen. You get a short employee introduction, get thrown into the FNaF 6 location with no explanation and then you´re on your own. If you complete all the levels you get the standard STAFF bot ending immediately and if you collect a bunch of secrets you unlock PQ4. It´s very passive with no build-up whatsoever. At least in my opinion. Personally I was expecting something similar to the first game- everything´s fine until you take a closer look and the game spirals into madness. I thought that there would be a secret conspiracy plot or a hidden twist somewhere. For example finding out that F.E. harvests remnant, or maybe employee logs of some other nature similar to Tape Girl (which would fit with the employee orientation theme to be honest). ...Or maybe Glitchtrap would actually talk to you and do something. And let´s switch for the moment to the subject of Cassie. Apparently it was discovered in the game files that she´s indeed turning into the new Vanny, which...well isn´t that bad of an idea theoretically. I made a couple of posts and comments on the topic. So the Mimic is just repeating the cycle again? Come on! Put in some effort this time around. You have a perfect opportunity after the elevator crash. Gain her trust, get on her good side. If Cassie ends up being mind-controlled in the same way as Vanessa I´m going to be very disappointed.
