if today was tomorrow's last yesterday
if this day was my last
id give away all that i have,
all i need, all i feel
id ignore the noise
deny my existence
and suppress my emotions
if it would make it all better

i try to avoid that reality
i think happy thoughts and fly away
to this land that never ever...
feels like home...

i try to see why this all has happened
why this feels the way it does
why when i begin to think
all i see is your face
all i can do is taste these tears
hope that we share these cries

for in desparation
i cry out and wonder

can i ever make things right??
