Update!: Shadow the Hedgehog is still an Assist Trophy.... HUGE missed opportunity I have to say.
With Knuckles the Echidna seemingly taking over Shadow's place as an Assist Trophy, echo fighters becoming more important this time around, and Richter being the first to be a third party echo fighter. Could Shadow finally have a chance to be a playable character? As if it wasn't clear enough, I really hope that this does happen.
Before anyone asks yes this inspired by the intro to Shadow the Hedgehog the game, I hate the game yet it's CGI looked great for it to be a first in a Sonic game.
