You and Natsu were sitting in the bar of the Fairy Tail guild, everyone else either on a mission or out having fun. You were sitting in the chair across Natsu, playing with a ring that rested on your middle finger.

Then out of nowhere Natsu groans. “I’m so hungry… And there’s nothing to eat…”

“Wow, such a surprise there.” You said with a roll of your (e/c) eyes.

“Shut up (y/n)! I’m sorry I like food!” He said grumpily, crossing his arms with a pout.

You laughed. “I was only joking!”

You leaned back in your chair, placing your hands behind your head. You were silent for a few moments, deep in thought, and it bothered Natsu for a minute because once you got like this, it meant trouble.

Out of the blue, you suddenly asked. “Hey Natsu?.. You said you can eat anything right? Even fire?”

He looked at you like you were crazy, but answered anyways. “Yeah, why??”

You grinned, your one thought was. ‘I’ve always wanted to say this!’

You sat forward, and using a kid voice, you replied. “Eat my shorts!”

He paused for a moment, giving a ‘WTF’ face, before he grinned. You didn’t like that smile, especially since you actually were wearing a pair of red shorts that were getting a bit too small. A.K.A, booty shorts.

“Ok, hand them over.” He said, holding out his hand for you to hand them to him.

“No! I was only joking!” You tried to reason with him.

“Nope, hand them over (y/n)! You told me to, so I’m going to!” Natsu said, standing up and reaching over the table.

“Dude! Back off!” You yelled as you jumped up, running away from him.

“You can’t run you coward!” He yelled behind you as you ran ahead of him.

“Yes I’m a coward because I don’t want you to see me in my underwear!!” You jumped over the bar, and picked up a bottle of whiskey, and held it over your head.

You threw the bottle and he dodged it easily and jumped over the counter as well. You, being the quick thinker you were, you tried to jump back over on the other side. Tried.

Suddenly you felt a tug at your shorts, and heard a loud rip. You fell over on the other side of the bar, knocking over several chairs and breaking one.

You looked up at Natsu, and he was holding your torn red shorts in one hand with a large grin. Looking down, you saw your pink and purple girly underwear. The unicorns, cupcakes, and rainbows smiled at you as you tried to cover yourself with your shirt as you stood up.

“NATSU!!!!!” You yelled. “WHY?!?!”

“Well you told me to, and so I’m going to!” He said, before burning your precious shorts to a blackened crisp, then eating them whole.

“WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” You shrieked.

“Says the person with the most girliest underwear I’ve ever seen.” He said smugly.

“I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!” You shouted in anger, completely forgetting the small lack of clothing you had as you tackled him to the floor.

He let out an oof, as he fell on his back. You straddled his hips and raised a fist but, he grabbed your wrists and tugged them down before you could even get a hit in. With the force of the tug, you fell forward, and your lips accidentally crashed into his. Both of your eyes widened, staring at each others tomato faces. You sat up quickly when you heard someone behind you.

“Hey Natsu, Lucy has been looking for yo-” You turned and saw Gray standing there, seeing the scene splayed before him with a surprised face. “I’ll leave you to it..” He said turning around and walking back from the way he came.

“THIS ISN’T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!!!” You shouted at him as he left.

“Uh, huh, sure.” Gray said, before walking out the door.

“Well then…” Natsu said, before quickly lifting you off of him.

You stood up, crossing your arms over your chest. “I can’t believe you ate my shorts! I’m going to put you on the fastest train there is!”

Natsu stood up as well, and rubbed the back of his neck. “Sorry, I didn’t know anyone would walk in..”

You sighed, not able to stay mad at him. “It’s fine..” You looked up, and yanked his scarf off of his neck. “But, I’m using this until we get to my house.”

You wrapped the large scarf around your waist, and tucked some of it in so then it would comfortably hang on your hips like a skirt.

“We?” He asked, looking at you.

“Well, I don’t want to walk the streets with a scarf wrapped around my waist, looking like
I don’t have enough money to afford actual pants.” You said, looking down at yourself.

“Plus, this IS your scarf, and I think you would want it right away.”

“True, alright, lets go.” Natsu said, walking with you outside and to your apartment, where you got some pants on.

When you walked out, Natsu laughed. “What?”

“I still can’t believe your underwear.” He chuckled.

“SHUT UP!!!”
