I get it.
First glance from anyone would be that it's just cute. But you made this work. Genius angle and abstracity. You put it together with a light cute style.
Hardly anyone can do that with feeling. Most I see are when people try TOO hard but this has balanced effort that his esily displyed yet hidden.
I love it. Making it look like a tree from one point of view only to get the veiwer to notice the littler details and notice that it's a path. Only to leave them woundering which of the two it was, keeping them even more glued with the picture yet non frustratedΒ beacuse of the light cute style.
Not to mention the detail, shading, coloring and to top it all of it's all done in water colors. A little bit wrinckled on the trees ,i suspect the paper couldn't take all the water, but I see it gave it more charm.
Β You should be proud of this, I find it incredibly enjoyable to look at. If I were to give it a critque, I would have given it a five on every thing but vision. I would give it a 4.5 but if I could go higher with impact, I'd give it a 6.
