Nimloth ("White Blossom", Sindarin) was the niece of Celeborn and great-granddaughter of Elmo, Thingol's brother, who stayed behind when Elwë was lost. She married Dior and had three children, Eluréd, Elurín and Elwing. She became Queen of Doriath alongside her husband. She was slain during the attack by the sons of Fëanor, and their followers took her sons (who must've still been children) into the forest and left them there to starve...
