What can I say?
This is one of few pictures I can say outright has had a direct influence on how I go about writing, if not drawing. I don't even know the story behind it - there is just something outright primal about it that fans the creative spark of a late teenager.
Even so many years later, the hope and fear of crawling out of the grave runs strong.

OK.... that's pretty sick. I mean, usually in hallucinations they come back as sparkling angels in flowing white robes, or exciting lingerie... zombies usually go with the eating brains bit.
Even so, it's nice. Zombies make everything cool. That's why people like Jesus so much. *gets lynched by mob of Christians*

I like how you did this. The whole touching-yet-creepiness of it is pretty cool. It's a really interesting idea, like something you'd see in a movie (or anime for that matter).

I mean, this picture is EXTREMELY moody and adds an element of dark love in a very cute but at the same time, uneasy, disturbing and very.. deadish.. This looks really good. Keep up the damn good work Amanda!

Wow I love this image... the background is breathtaking, and the figures are wonderful. His expression is so great... Filled with pain and yet hope. I love his pose, how he's reaching out, but not touching her, afraid of what will happen if he does. Ah, so wonderful....

Holy crap. You've made a *zombie* look *hot*. That's just not allowed...but it's still great. I think the real beauty of this piece, though, is the dude himself, it's just such a bright, contrasting image in the midst of the darkness, like a madman...His face is so gorgeously earnest, the expression..man. It's undescribable. You're displaying a tender, serene moment between a young man and his imaginary undead decomposing girlfriend. The thing that really bothers me is the way you're able to make your male characters look so..attractive O.o. I want to be that dude. He's so strong and fuzzy and...did I mention he has an undead girlfriend? That's just cool! I have to fav this, the mood is just too great

I really like this. The concept is interesting and disgustingly amusing. Also his expression leads me to believe...that no matter what she looked like, he would still love her which is really touching. This kinda of gives you a strange persception of Killall....almost feel sorry for him. It almost makes him look pathetically intransed. The picture is wonderful and I love the background. So dark, dreary, and foreboding. You did an awesome job on the corpse as well. All in all 'tis a grand picture indeed. I wish I could draw gore half as well as you O_o
