So, I'm a bit behind, behold the sketchy-ness there is a part in the story where Mahjali and Syre come across a shaman from Syre's old tribe. The Shaman seeing them traveling together assumes that Syre has finally chosen to settle down. Or at the very least hasn't scared him off yet. He then goes on to say he can hear the wedding bells. The bells he hears are actually the city's warning bells going off no thanks to Syre. Syre then wants to kill the poor misguided Shaman and Mahjali is too stunned to think about telling the Shaman about his Girlfriend back home who he wants to marry. So ya, that's all.
