The biggest problem for me is that I am uncomfortable with sleeping in his lap. (And his staring)
I'll face away from him, pillow on his lap and blanket around me, and then I'll just try to ignore my massive paranoia like I do every other night. (Except that this time someone really is staring at me...)
Basically, I'll lay down and try to forget he's there. If he's really quiet I might get some sleep.
