oopsies...dis is not my artwork! forgot to put the copyright stuff up there. it's just what my desktop looks like right now.

the character art is from softmax's game war of genesis III and the wallpaper is from [link] . the day i get that good at painting, i'll die a happy wolfie.

Sorry, I had to cut my previous comment a bit short.

I like how the cross-hair target centers the viewer's attention on his face. The fact that his face is the only area on the whole WP with skin-colour reinforces the bull's-eye. Awesome work on the directionall/dynamic lines.
The fading series of rectangles is also a nice touch.
I said this before, but this is an excellent WP. Just wish I could read the text

Like the design of the twin-blades (for lack of better word). And the low lightsource is a dynamic addition. I might suggest that some of the shadows be a bit darker, what with the bright lightsource and all, but I'm certainly no expert in lighting.

The character has a rather Painter-look. Did you colour/draw him in Painter? Or use custom brushes in Photoshop? Eheh...or my guesses areway off?

Awesome work! You've an excellent eye for aesthetics and eye-pleasing layout. I envy your coat-designs--makes me want coats like your characters wear. I particularly like how the border on the hem doubles in on itself here. Limited colours works well, too.
I also like the close-ups on the right.
My only suggestions is that his right foot looks like it is on a separate plane, but that may just be me?

Nonetheless, great work. *+ fav, and now using as my desktop*
