Glutton: For whatever reason, he cannot seem to get enough to eat. Strictly carnivorous, he prefers live prey and will eat approximately 90% of the creatures he come into contact with. While he is seemingly a mindless killer, he does have control over what he eats, but his hunger is so out of control he tends to devour most anything. He does have some limitations, however. Generally he will not attack if: the prey is so small the caloric intake is not worth the energy spent on catching it, the prey can outrun him (about the speed of an average wolf), it's an even stronger being than him (meaning some type of mythical, magical, immortal, or god-type creature/monster) he will not even engage and even run away, or he's simple not in the mood to eat (which is highly unlikely.) Primal: Grimm mostly operates on instinct alone, however he is self-aware with intelligence higher than standard animals. Still, his main priority is always filling his seemingly endless stomach. Due to his mortality status, things such as water, shelter, and simple survival do not matter to him; he is spends almost all of his time hunting... and sleeping, but only for fun. Confused: Given that he does have a consciousness, yet his primal instinct is extremely strong, he is basically aware that he is an unstoppable killing machine. It's hard to say exactly what's going through his mind, however he does experience emotions such pain and frustration, though not very often. Still, what goes on in his mind must be torment. Psychopath: That's a pretty obvious one. But basically he will react violently in most social situations and his behavior is extremely unstable. Asocial/Antisocial: Typically, Grimm searches for solitary prey. Whether it's someone lost in the woods, or the case of a hunter becoming the hunted, he tends to avoid groups of strong individuals unless provoked. So in this case, there is safety in numbers. He rarely ventures into open, well lit areas, and is sensitive to light. He also does not experience arousal or attraction to anyone in any sense of the word. Jokester: Grimm has his own, erm, interesting sense of humor. He highly enjoys messing with individuals' heads, making them feel pure panic and fear. Whether it means dismembering himself in front of them or making people think they're about to get eaten, Grimm gets his kicks from making others suffer, though he rarely will torture someone physically. His favorite game is to make people think that everything they've just seen, including him, was all just a hallucination, then sneaking up on them right before he eats them. Maybe it makes the meat taste better... Silly: Yes, believe it or not, Grimm is actually quite cute and goofy when he's not chowing down on flesh. For very brief periods, after a large meal or a day of binge eating, Grimm takes his time rolling around in the grass, chasing his tail, or simply napping in the sun. One would almost want to go up and snuggle with him, but that's probably not the best idea...

There's really no known history on him (though I may decide to change that later down the line) but he has been seen and documented for many centuries. What he actually is remains a mystery, however it is clear he is not part of the mortal world. He is not "magic" per se, but has abilities that far exceeds any mortal's ability. It is often said he is from another dimension, most likely hell or the underworld depending on who you ask, but it is clear he can surpass the laws of physics that exist in the mortal realm. Grimm can morph into just about anything, but typically prefers to distort his body into grotesque shapes such as growing extra eyes or other various body parts, growing his mouth to impossible sizes for easy snacking, peeling his skin off, etc. He can also teleport/disappear on a whim, float effortlessly through the air, and survive basically any injury or dismemberment, even decapitation, and is somehow able become whole again. For these reasons, many think he is a ghost though he does contain flesh and blood. With challenged by an even more powerful opponent, their best hope to kill him is to either tear him apart, and/or to destroy his heart or brain. At that point his body will smolder away and it could be several days before he appears again.
(YAY GRIMMY! My favorite little psycho~ ok so I might end up changing a few things about this as the character develops but he's one of my oldest characters from the DA account I had years ago. Anyway I love how this came out so much even though I spent way too much time on it lol...)
