This is amazing: the details, the hair, the skin, the blood, the dress... the clouds are beautiful too, very foreboding. I can't help but think that it's a little like the bad apple saying: beautiful on the outside, but on the inside there's nothing but pestilence and rot.
As has been mentioned before, she probably has one hell of a story. It reminds me of The Corpse Bride gone evil.

God- the details. From the darkened city in the background, looming alike coiled gargoyle, to her etheral white skin. She has such a story, I bet. A bride perhaps, where the wedding went terribly wrong? Or a maiden...Either way, the tale this piece tells is compelling and strewn with shadows. Simply amazing work.
