I was asked many times, which tool and how many pencils I used up to get to this point.So today I decided take a photo of my little tool box with all the simple tools I need. That includes different tortillons, eraser, pencils from 5H to 8B and pencil extension.
I always sharpen all pencils like this before starting a new drawing and my most used pencil is 2B.
Hmm, about how fast I use them up. Well, 4 months ago all pencils on the photo were almost new.
Don't worry, I've already bought new pencils

Hey that's really cool how you have them sharpened like that but how do you do that? Are you sharpening these with a razor blade or something?

I also use Faber Castell because I live in GErmany but it is sooo expensive

hahaha.. well.. I couldn't compare my work to Yours, 'couse Your's are awesome, but it's quite funny.. I keep my pencils in a.. umm.. similar shape.. xD I mean that the pencil (my pencil ;]) must be the sharpest of the sharpest.. I sharpen them a second after I finish my sketch.. ;] it's such a habit of mine.. ^^

I have another question, how do you shade your artwork, just by using tortillions or do you also use tissue papers?
