Description
This is TF Round Robin, a series of Transformation Sequences where some popular (and some obscure) characters get shuffled around and find themselves in someone else's shoes. In Round Two(n), we see cartoony characters become more realistic ones and visa-versa.

Humankind had long been extinct but their relics still dotted the landscape. Everything from odd metal shells on wheels, ancient tablets, and buckets of bird bones could be found on the remaining outcroppings of land but the most important part of humanity, their fashion, had been completely lost to the winds of time. Squid-kind would never know just how fresh or how lame the styles of those that came before were.

Or so it was thought…

Poking through ancient ruins, a young Inkling managed to make an incredible discovery, ancient shades. They were far too small to practically shield the user’s eyes from the sun, clearly a statement of the highest fashion. She slipped them on and they fit perfectly. Revelling in making the fashion discovery of the millennia, she wondered what sort of human wore them before her. Obviously it would be someone who was both tough and good looking; someone who’d wear clothes that were good looking and practical; and most likely somebody who would be pretty handy with dual weapons...

What she didn’t realise, was as she drifted into her speculation and fantasy, it started to manifest in her body. She grew taller, grew older and lost polygon count. Her Mint Dakroniks sneakers became rugged boots, her White King Tank top became a turquoise tank of an indeterminate brand and her King Flip Mesh cap faded into nothing, leaving her head tentacles to change into something much more alien, hair. Even the Dualies she held changed from plastic to metal and their ink tanks instead became spring loaded cartridges with explosive propelled pellets.

The fantasy had overtaken her in more ways than one, she was now Lara Croft. Famous human archaeologist, raiding another tomb.
