Bio: Born and raised in poverty as well, Byakuya longed for a better life. He joined a clan called The Ark to fight against the corruption in his homelands, in hopes that he would receive that "better life". Avarice got the better of him though and he became a turncoat who undermined The Ark's missions for materialistic pleasures. His greed was what got him murdered in the end by the very people who he had worked for- he asked for too much.

Some find that unnerving, and some, like me, find that comforting. *body tenses a bit at the mention of the First Alice* Yeah...I find the idea of the First Alice more unnerving than comforting *laughs softly* I used to think my wanting was so powerful in my past life, that I'd never be able to leave that world- my hunger would just keep expanding and the whole world would be filled with my presence. To think that someone like the First Alice has the power to pull me away from that...it's really quite nerve-wracking.
*smiles softly* That's a beautiful way of thinking of this situation...I only wish that I could think the way you do as well

Iris: Some people who end up here are truly good people in bad circumstances... others bad in bad. I honestly don't care about the kind of person someone was before coming here, I care about who they are now, because that is what matters. It's no use judging people for actions they did in a world that doesn't even apply to here, on top of being hypocritical to do so. *she leans her elbow on the armrest, then puts her cheek on her curled fingers.* Hence, everyone comes here on a "clean slate," the cleanliness of it being determined by how much of their past they want to put on it, and how much they want to change as a person.

Iris: A lot of people question the Queen's... methods in dealing with certain issues, as well as her actions during the War, in the way she treated the other leaders. Many people don't understand that sometimes in order to build things up properly, breaking them down is necessary. I admire her pro-activity in being the master of her own surroundings and fate, which has led me here~ *she motions around her, meaning the castle and working for the Queen.* Yes, I was offered a room in the castle once I had proven myself to her.
